Standard Acoustic White Foam underlay 2mm

This standard polyethylene underlay is designed for use with timber sub-floors. Just roll it out across the room making sure the edges butt up tight to each other, and then lay your new floor on top.

• 2mm thick polyethylene foam
• 15 metres long x 1 metre wide - 15 square metres per roll
• Good sound insulation  - 18dB
• Absorbs minor sub-floor imperfections
• Needs a vapour barrier underneath on concrete sub-floors
• Loose lay - does not need to be glued down
• Suitable for under-floor heating

UL11 - 15 sqm per Roll
Premium DPM Underlay 3mm

This standard polyethylene underlay has a built-in vapour barrier and is designed for use with concrete sub-floors. Just roll it out across the room making sure the edges overlap the vapour barrier on the adjacent underlay, and then lay your new floor on top.

• 3mm thick polyethylene foam
• 15 metres long x 1 metre wide - 15 square metres per roll
• Overlapping edges for joint-sealing protection
• Good sound insulation - 20dB
• Absorbs minor sub-floor imperfections
• Designed for use on concrete sub-floors but can be used on all sub-floors

• Suitable for water-piped under-floor heating but NOT electric systems

UL12 - 10 sqm per Roll
Ultra Silver underlay 3.5mm

This high-density re-cycled rubber underlay improves walking comfort and reduces footfall sound. It can be used on all sub-floors and is really easy to lay - just roll it out across the room making sure the edges butt up tight to each other, and then lay your new floor on top.

• 3.5mm thick recycled rubber underlay with an aluminium vapour barrier
• 10 metres long x 1 metre wide - 10 square metres per roll
• Excellent sound insulation - 23dB
• Absorbs minor sub-floor imperfections
• Can be used on all sub-floors
• Loose lay - does not need to be glued down
• Suitable for water-piped under-floor heating but NOT electric systems

Ultra Plus Gold Acoustic underlay 5mm

UL14 - 9.6 sqm 
Classic Foamboard Green 5mm

This 5mm rigid fibreboard underlay is loose-laid on all sub-floors with the boards butting up tight to each other. It levels out unevenness in subfloors, reduces footfall noise and limits heat loss. Just lay the rectangular boards across the room making sure there are no gaps between them, and then lay your new floor on top.

• 5mm dense, rigid fibreboard underlay
• Made from natural fibres
• Board size - 856mm x 600mm
• 19 boards in a pack = 9.76 square metres coverage
• Good sound insulation
• Absorbs sub-floor imperfections
• Must be used with a vapour barrier if used on concrete sub-floors

T-Section
Also known as a T-bar or Twin profile, this covers the gap between two floors of equal height such as in doorways, over expansion gaps or as a room divider.

Ramp Section
Sometimes referred to as an Adaptor or Reducer, this provides a neat transition between two floors of varying height.

Scotia
Ideal for hiding the expansion gaps around the edge of a room, for example if the skirting board hasn’t been removed and replaced when the floor was fitted.
